Delete your account

Your account is yours. Delete it any time — in the app or by email.

The fast path — inside the app

  1. Open Sabbah and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab, then Settings.
  3. Scroll to "Danger zone" and tap "Delete account".
  4. Confirm. The deletion is immediate and irreversible.

The fallback — by email

If you can’t sign in, email support@sabbah.app from the same address registered to your account, subject "Delete my account". We’ll process it manually within 48 hours.

What happens when you delete

Deleted immediately:

  • Your auth record (email and password).
  • Your profile (display name, bio, avatar, city).
  • Your bean likes and prep-method votes, and likes on others’ recipes.
  • Your follow / follower relationships.

Retained but anonymized:

  • Recipes you posted survive as "deleted user" so the community archive isn’t broken. They are no longer attributed to you.
  • If you want your recipes gone too, delete them individually before deleting the account.
