Sabbah — Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using the Sabbah app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the app.
2. Who we are
Sabbah is an Arabic-language community for Saudi specialty coffee roasteries. Contact: support@sabbah.app.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sabbah. By signing up you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. Your account
- You’re responsible for keeping your password secret.
- You’re responsible for everything posted from your account.
- One human per account. No bots, no impersonation, no fake roastery accounts.
5. Acceptable use — community rules
You agree NOT to post or submit:
- Spam, advertising, or promotional content for non-coffee businesses.
- Harassment, hate speech, threats, or content targeting individuals or groups based on identity.
- Sexual content, gore, or content that exploits minors.
- Illegal content or content that infringes copyrights / trademarks.
- Content impersonating others, including roasteries.
- Coordinated inauthentic behavior (mass-liking, fake accounts).
We reserve the right to remove content and ban accounts at our discretion. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent bans.
6. Your content; license to us
You retain ownership of the recipes, likes, votes, and profile data you post.
By posting, you grant Sabbah a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, display, distribute, and translate your content within the app and on app-related marketing surfaces (e.g. screenshots used in the App Store listing).
You can revoke this license at any time by deleting your content. If you delete your account, posted recipes survive as “مستخدم محذوف” to keep the community archive intact; if you want them removed entirely, delete each recipe individually before deleting your account.
7. Roastery and bean catalog
Roastery information (logo, description, beans) is curated by Sabbah for informational purposes. It does NOT represent a partnership or endorsement unless explicitly stated. If you are a roastery owner and want your information corrected or removed, email support@sabbah.app.
8. Reporting and blocking
You can:
- Report any recipe or user profile for review by our moderation team.
- Block any user; their content is hidden from you.
We respond to reports within 48 hours. Severe violations may result in immediate content removal without notice.
9. No warranty on coffee outcomes
Sabbah is a community platform. The recipes, likes, and brewing-method votes come from other users — they are opinions, not guarantees. We don’t promise that following any recipe will produce a great cup of coffee. Coffee quality depends on bean freshness, grinder calibration, water chemistry, and technique.
10. Service availability
We try to keep the app running 24/7 but can’t promise zero downtime. We may suspend access for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.
11. Termination
You can delete your account anytime via Settings → “حذف الحساب”.
We can suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
12. Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Sabbah is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Saudi Arabia.
14. Changes
We may update these Terms. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continued use after a material change is acceptance.
